The devastated Areas of the Earthquake: The Welfare Trust in the month of last Ramadhan sent a fact finding mission the earthquake devastated areas in the North. The mission made its observation of the need of the people. The welfare cooperated with the people by sending 50 trucks of goods of daily use to the destitute people for their need of everyday. The consignment included:
Sheets of aluminum Folding houses.
Plastic floor mate Blankets
Quilts Woolen cloths
Tents. Flour, lentils, rice, tea, sugar, powder milk
Biscuits for children Utensils
Shoes Medicines

More than three hundred million rupees goods were distributed to the people of the are of Muzaffarabad, Garhi Habibullah, Mansehra, Butgram, Muree, Allai and other remote areas by the Welfare Trust.

The Welfare Trust is in immediate need to run some of the following projets for the betterment of the people who look forward to your help and assistance. Much work is needed to be still done in the devastated areas of the earthquake because:
  1. People have lost their properties.
  2. the bread earner of the family is killed in the earthquake.
  3. The dowry prepared for the marriages of daughters has destroyed.
  4. Home industry is destroyed.
  5. Educational institutions are destroyed.

So, guardians are needed to the desolate houses as the sources of income are finished. Everyday needs such as food and education for the children are non-available. Daughters are in need of dowry to get married. The welfare has prepared a package for the earthquake affected areas:

  1. Livelihood and provision per house: Rs.5,000/- monthly.
  2. Educational expenditure: Rs.1,000/- monthly.
  3. Dowry: Rs.28,000/-
  4. Cost of house building: Rs.60,000/-

The Earthquake Ridden Children: The last year earthquake destroyed almost everything and rendered many children destitute. The welfare took care of 400 children spending Rs.1200/- each child monthly. They are being provided free education of both kind the religious and the contemporary. Monthly stipends is also being provided to them. The welfare looks forward to adopt hundreds of this kind of children but only financial constraints hamper to do so.

Victims of The Torrential Rain: The recent devastating rain left its victims to nothing. The welfare provided ration and goods of daily use to the victims particularly in the rural area. There is a dire need of their permanent settlement. It could be achieved by providing them. Rs.3000/- each house.
Binoria Medical Center : It undertakes 300 patients daily with free medical treatment costing the welfare Rs.5,00,000/- monthly. A full-fledged and fully equipped hospital is under construction with 250 bed facility which needs a huge cost in millions. All sort of test facilities are available to the patients. Many male and female doctors/physicians keep on it running 24 hours a day.
Binoria Ambulance Service: The Welfare Trust has recently started its ambulance service. This ambulance service is provided free of cost to the needy and the poor. The welfare trust needs 10 ambulances at once to cater the need of the patients and the victims. An ambulance is of the price of Rs.450,000/- The welfare will assign five ambulance to all big hospitals under the trust. Generous and wealthy persons are requested to help the welfare in this regard to help the suffering humanity.
Dowry Scheme: Poverty hampers many families to get their girls married because of not arranging dowry. It is even worse in the earthquake hit areas. The welfare provided dowry to 500 girls last year to get them married. This year it has an even extended program of such nature and to arrange dowry for 1,000/- girls. The estimated cost of one girl’s dowry is Rs.28,000/-
 

Scholarships for Students: The Welfare Trust has announced a monthly package of scholarship in regard of books and monthly stipend for the students – male and female – of seminaries, schools and universities. It is to help to make education for all and consequently gainful employment to each one.

An IT course is also been undertaking by the welfare in and out of Karachi seminaries’ students.
